在新兴信息技术与期刊出版融合发展的背景下,人工智能技术正深刻影响并改变着学术期刊的编辑流程和编辑工作者的思维模式。知识获取的方式以及技术的更新发展都发生着转变。文章探讨人工智能技术在学术期刊编辑流程中的应用,运用SWOT分析方法,系统评估人工智能技术在选题策划、组稿、约稿、审稿、编辑校对、排版发行等环节中对提高稿件质量和审稿效率、挖掘学科前沿热点等方面的技术优势,分析其在行业发展中存在的劣势,并对其面临的技术瓶颈和安全风险进行剖析。研究认为,合理应用人工智能技术有助于优化学术内容挖掘和协同技术创新,但需优化出版策略,通过提升编辑人员的智能素养,再造或优化工作流程,加强行业的智能技术交流,才能有效规避发展劣势与潜在威胁,助推学术期刊可持续发展。
Abstract:Against the backdrop of deep integration between emerging information technologies and journal publishing, artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping the editing processes of academic journals and the cognitive paradigms of editorial professionals. This paper explores the application of artificial intelligence in the editorial workflow of academic journals. Employing a SWOT analysis framework, it systematically evaluates the technological advantages of AI in key stages such as topic selection and planning, manuscript solicitation, peer review, editing and proofreading, and layout and distribution. The analysis highlights significant strengths in enhancing manuscript quality and review efficiency, as well as in identifying cutting-edge disciplinary hotspots. Concurrently, the study critically examines the inherent weaknesses in current AI applications, including heavy data dependency and algorithmic bias, alongside external threats such as technological bottlenecks, data security concerns, and academic ethical risks. The research posits that the effective application of artificial intelligence hinges on establishing a novel human-machine collaborative working model. By enhancing the digital and AI literacy of editorial staff, reshaping workflows, and strengthening inter-organizational technical exchanges within the industry, it is possible to effectively mitigate potential risks, truly realize technology-enabled empowerment, and promote the high-quality and sustainable development of academic journals.
